WandaVision brings back Pietro Maximoff played by Evan Peters

Kevin Feige warned us that the Marvel series on Disney + would have a bigger impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And he has kept that promise.

On Friday, the fifth episode of “WandaVision” hit the streaming service, bringing with it a huge cameo that many viewers have imagined before program six arrives next week. Not only does the revelation inside the sitcom-based TV show have an impact, but for the entire Marvel universe… or should I say heterosexuality.

Now would be a good time to look away if you haven’t seen the latest episode of “WandaVision.”

The fifth program, titled “On a Very Special Episode…,” our ragtag team of FBI Agent Jimmy Woo, Dr. Darcy Lewis and Captain Monica Rambeau is an inch closer to realizing the anomaly of Westview.

Meanwhile, Vision, still part of the imitation, but now set in the ’80s, is becoming increasingly suspicious of the world around it. Neighbors have started to work weirdly, his twin sons are aging at will and his wife, Wanda, while trying to dispel his worries, is just causing them to grow.

Just as the new husband and wife are set for an argument with high power, the doorbell rings. Wanda, upset with this version, responds. Standing on the poor front is Pietro Maximoff, just not Pietro Maximoff.

Appearing on the other side of the door is Peter Evans, not Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The actor starred in the mutant Quicksilver in several X-Men films, which was up to 2019 with 20th Century Fox.

It is stated that Wanda had not planned to include her brother in her sitcom simulation. In fact, just a few previews Wanda refuses to bring her son’s puppy back from the dead.

“You can fix anything, settle dead,” one son says. After a recession, even a nosy neighbor Agnes, who is theorized to slow down at least some of Wanda ‘s imitation sequences, asked if she could do that.

“I’m trying to tell you that there are rules in my life,” Wanda explains to her two boys. “We can’t just rush to get older because it’s convenient and we can’t turn death back no matter how hard it makes us. Some things last forever.”

This statement raises two questions: Is Vision dead or has Wanda (or someone else) taken it back? And Did Wanda Pietro take a different return unknowingly or did someone else do it?

Both will tend to be answered before the credits come to the final program in a few weeks.

Already, listeners have witnessed what happened before the Westview riot early in the program when Wanda appeared on security photographs stealing Vision’s body from a secret laboratory. And it looks like Easter eggs are still available that provide more advertising.

So what about this new Pietro?

Before Disney acquired Fox entertainment brands in a $ 71 billion deal, the two studios made an agreement. Disney could use Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, but they could not be described as being mutants or being the children of Magneto. That’s why in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Wanda and Pietro got their powers from Infinity stone and not genetically.

Top viewers may have noticed during Friday’s program when Tyler Hayward, director of SWORD, asked if Wanda had a moniker like some of the other Avengers were told he didn’t. Wanda has never been named as Scarlet Witch in any of the MCU movies.

As for Fox, the studio was allowed to use Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in his films as long as he made no mention of the Avengers. Of course, Peters’ Quicksilver goes with Peter and not Pietro.

In the last few months, rumors have circulated as Marvel executives have hired some familiar faces to return in future MCU movies.

Disney has already confirmed the return of Jamie Foxx as Electro, from “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” starring Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. And Alfred Molina, who starred in Doctor Octopus when Tobey McGuire turned out to be the famous webmaster, has also confirmed his appearance in the film.

Dr. Strange of Benedict Cumberbatch is also expected to appear.

It has been speculated that other characters from the MCU, or even from previous reports of Spider-Man, will join the team, but Disney has not confirmed these rumors.

Pietro ‘s return in the form of Peters indicates that Marvel is already on its way to exploring the multiracial. This was sparked through San Diego Comic-Con in 2019 when Marvel announced that the Doctor Strange sequel would be dubbed “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”

For those unfamiliar, the Marvel multiverse is just an interesting way to say a collection of global remakes. They are similar in nature to each other, but have slight differences. It is a popular concept in comic books, as it allows writers to recreate characters and stories for new generations.

With Wanda already confirmed as part of the Doctor Strange series and Doctor Strange part of “Spider-Man 3” it’s no surprise that Marvel is exploding early bread crumbs. After all, the seeds of Infinity Stones appear in “Thor” and “Captain America: The First Avenger” long before they are so named.

Marvel has used the mind, power, reality, soul, space and time of jewels over a decade, using them to weave in new characters and situations that led to “Avengers: Infinity War” and the highest grossing film ever “Avengers: Endgame . ”

Introducing the multiverse in “WandaVision” works on several levels for Disney. Not only are they setting the stage for future MCU movies and shows, the company is also making its TV streaming content a must-see. Fans need to watch these shows if they don’t want to miss out on plotlines or character introductions that will be woven into feature-length films.

“WandaVision” may be the first Marvel project discussed from “Spider-Man: Far From Home” in July 2019, but this won’t be the last one in 2021. On Disney +, it will be followed by topped with “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” in March, “Loki” in May and the animated series “What If …? “in the summer.

For theater, Marvel is ready for the debut of “Black Widow” on May 7, “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Circles” on July 9, “Eternals” on November 5 and his co-production “Spider-Man 3 ”on 17 December.
