The club’s youth academy is in an unconventional period, with the activities of the team members in front of the players taking place through telephones and computers. In order to understand how the activity continues in the department, we spoke with the director of the girls ‘academy, who also coaches the girls’ group, Dana Nissenbaum.

Dana first shared with us her feelings following the current situation: “It’s not an easy feeling, especially since it’s already a third closure and we were already in a training and games routine, but trying to maintain as much optimism and training routine and frame as possible, expecting us to return soon.”

Regarding the work routine, the coach of the girls ‘team told us that there is an orderly training routine in Zoom for all the girls’ national teams and beyond that there is also a personal connection and interest in the situation of the actresses beyond the professional aspect. Dana shared with us about the day-to-day activities and the willingness of the girls to continue to work hard even during the unconventional period: “The truth is that in the current closure there is more commitment and seriousness on the part of the actresses and attendance at meetings is very high. We, too, the professional team, have learned and improved the content in Zoom and focused specifically to be tailored for the actresses. We were also able to recruit a number of other girls who joined the zoom training, which includes fitness training, technique training, meetings with Einav, the club’s nutritionist and Meirav, the mental coach, and other general content of the department. “
