The youth team was hosted by the rival from Netanya in the 9th round of the Youth Premier League. The Yellows came to the meeting from third place in the table with the same balance as that of the leader of the table (Maccabi Haifa) who has a missing game. On the other hand, the opponent came to the meeting from the 8th place in the table. The team’s coach, Eliezer Ben Aharon, started with the same lineup as the victory from the previous round over Hapoel Rishon LeZion.

The opening of the game belonged to Maccabi. In the 4th minute a great depth ball was sent to Or Roizman who galloped in into the extension. He kicked well to the frame but Li-Yam Hanan deflected the ball and thus prevented a safe goal. In the 9th minute of the game again Roisman was the one who threatened the goal. This time his kick from outside the box was deflected by the defense and the ball passed near the crossbar and out. 4 minutes later a good free kick by Roizman was repulsed by Hanan to the corner. In the 22nd minute came Tobruk’s first chance. Roy Harel’s long-range kick was caught by Tomer Alon. In contrast to what was happening on the field, Betar Tobruk took the lead in the 25th minute. A ball that was sent off in Maccabi’s field reached a man from Hamid who scored from close range. 0: 1 to win Betar Tobruk. In the 34th minute a free kick by Ener Oshmandi went out of bounds. A minute later, Maccabi returned to the game. Novatos Miroshi gave a wide ball to Yahli Lazar who kicked a touch to the frame, the opposing goalkeeper was unable to stop the ball that went inside. Maccabi equalized to 1: 1. In the 44th minute, the momentum continued when Maccabi almost took the lead. Roizman received the ball on the left side, he advanced a little and kicked to the frame but Hanan pushed the ball to the corner and thus prevented a safe goal. A minute later Ener Oshmandi also kicked to the goal but the ball went out. At the end of the half the result remained 1: 1.

The second half opened in a direct continuation of the first half. Maccabi are the ones who dominated the opening minutes and this was reflected in the 51st minute. Eisman burst on the left wing, he passed a defensive player but his kick went inches from the crossbar and out. A minute later Maccabi was close to conquest again, this time Oshmandi’s kick rubbed the goalpost and the ball went out. In the 53rd minute, Novatos Miroshi gave an excellent depth ball to Oshmandi, who in a one-on-one situation kicked to the frame, but Hanan deflected the ball. Miroshi was sent forward into the extension, he tried to pass to Tal Turgeman who was free in front of the goal but Hanan managed to take the ball. At the end of the game, the result remained 1: 2 in favor of Maccabi.
