We take a look back at some of the highlights and achievements from Round Seven of the Vitality Netball Superleague.
From the Manchester Thunder return to winning at lunchtime on Sunday, to the Leeds Rhinos Netball and Severn Stars doubling on Monday night, it was another sad weekend of netball.
If you missed any action, you can watch all the games back in full on Sky Sports’ YouTube channel. The tournament returns on Sunday with Round Eight and four consecutive games streamed.

Well, it must be Strathclyde Sirens‘compete with Wasps Netball, isn’t it? When matches go down to the last second and leave you on the edge of your chair all over, then there is no other choice!
For Strathclyde Sirens, the full-time whistle gave off feelings of frustration as they lost a game they feel they should have won, while Netball Wasps knew they were lucky to take a point away from the competition.
When you look at the game back, take a look at the Sirens ’defensive capabilities, it’s fair to say that not many teams can block a Wasps attack the way they did Sunday.
Tour Performance (s)
While Manchester Thunder and Team Bath Netball both put a good number of goals on the table during their games against Celtic Dragons and Surrey Storm, here we return to Strathclyde Sirens for the performance (s) of the universe.
The Scottish franchise set the tone with their duel against Wasps and then continued to show their strength against Bath’s powerful outfit on Monday.

With every passing game and progressive achievement, credibility is growing within their ranks and it’s good to see.
The interesting thing for Sirens is that they know they have more to offer and that small changes, such as consistently delivering higher firing percentages and fewer turns against them, will take them to even higher heights. greater.

This week’s player of the tour is one of the most famous and popular networks in England – Serena Guthrie.
On Monday night, the Bath with Sirens contest brought out the best of the Vitality Rose. From mid-air passes and exceptional feeding precision to critical turn and steady movement, Guthrie showed why she is considered one of the best midfielders in the world, not just in Superleague.
The look on social media
England’s head coach Vitality Roses was back in Wakefield for Round Seven and ahead of the games, she took to social media to share her excitement.
For Jess Thirlby, the ability to watch every Vitality Netball Superleague game in person is a real treat and is something she makes the most of.

On Monday afternoon, Guthrie’s work caught the eye of Vernon Kay and let his million fans know about the netball on Sky Sports. Then our reporter Hannah Wilkes saw a window for a new feature and asked if Guthrie could consider adding to her sports collection ?!

A great young player
At the Manchester Thunder match against the Celtic Dragons on Sunday, Alicia Scholes they reached court for the start of the second quarter and played a big part in their 69-33 victory.

In a statement, Sara Bayman highlighted the type of WA Scholes is and some of the unique features she delivers for Thunder. Karen Greig, head coach of the 2019 champions, highlighted Scholes ’work in her post-match interview.
“Alicia will bring something different to the end of the Thunder attack,” Bayman said. “She likes to give and take, she likes to run a ball down and take it back from players.
“She’s that short, zippy kind of WA, that other teams have but we haven’t seen since Thunder. It’s a good change for them in their attack.”
