Subject: Experts from the Society of Mechanical Engineers of America (ASME) will talk and take questions on how engineers are assisting medical professionals in the fight against COVID-19 and other emergency medical needs. Topics include cryopreservation, fluid and movement mechanics, Targeted Delivery of therapy through ultrasound (to diseases and tumors), rapid clinical trials through modeling and imitation (this was done with the COVID vaccine as indicated in the this study published in the Lancet), and nanobot tech.
