‘Virgin River’ Updated For Season 3 By Netflix – Deadline

Netflix has updated their popular romance drama series Virgin River for a third 10-program season. Also, Zibby Allen (Am Flash, Anatomy Gray) regularly joins the team as a new series and Stacey Farber (Saving hope, Digg Town) has been tapped for recycling function.

Based on Robyn Carr’s favorite Harlequin book series, the contemporary romance story is based on the recent move of nurse practitioner Melinda Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) to California’s remote Virgin River. Desiring a fresh start, Monroe soon discovers that living in small towns is not as simple as she expected and that she must learn to heal herself before she can truly Virgin River to make home.

Allen will play Brie’s sister, Jack (Martin Henderson). Brie is a lawyer who is clever, tough, tough and full of fun and lots of fun.

Farber returns as Tara Anderson, daughter of Lilly (Linda Boyd), whom we meet later this season as she helps her with Baby Chloe while her other three sisters live away from home.

The return team includes Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Colin Lawrence, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Grayson Gurnsey, Lauren Hammersley, Sarah Dugdale, Jenny Cooper, Daniel Gillies, Chase Petriw and Marco Grazzini.

Sue Tenney serves as an action producer and presenter. Jocelyn Freid, Roma Roth, Christopher E. Perry and Robyn Carr serve as executive representatives.

Allen’s latest TV credits include posts on it Nancy Drew (CW), Am Flash (CW), For the People (ABC), Evening zone (CBS), The Exorcist (Fox), Motel Bates (A&E) and SHIELD Agents She is again with A3 Artists Group and Characters Talent Group.

Farber is internationally renowned for his lead role as Ellie Nash on the modern Canadian television series Degrassi: The next generation. She recently starred / re-enacted an introductory series Grace and Frankie, Schitt’s Creek and The Hero among others. She has recently appeared as the director of the Pam MacLean series on CBC’s Diggstown town. She is brought back by A3 Artists Group, Character Talent Group and Silver Lining Entertainment.
