“Violates equality”: The High Court demands that the Korona regulations be changed within a week or so

The High Court today (Monday) asked the state to amend the corona regulations within a week, so that from now on the food and pharma chains will not be able to continue selling toys and clothes. The hearing took place following a petition by the Idan 2000 and Amusement Park toy chains, which petitioned following the Corona regulations.

According to the petitioners, who will be represented by Adv. Gideon Fischer and Adv. Matan Gutman, the existing regulations violate equality and allow food and pharm stores to continue to sell toys, clothes, books and other products without restriction.

The judges sought to amend the regulations so that a store that remained open at the time of closure could only sell essential products such as food, medicine, hygiene products and could not sell toys and clothing.

The lawyers who represented the petitioners stated that “we welcome the decision, which in fact accepts the petition we filed and asks the state to amend the regulations that severely damaged the toy stores. We hope that after the petition to the High Court, the injustice will be remedied and the toy stores can continue to act “Law and make a decent living, even in the days of the Corona and the food and pharma shops will not be able to continue selling toys.”
