Filmmaker Ace SS Rajamouli took to Twitter and introduced the “title eye” of Santosh Sivan’s next film Mumbaikar on January 1st which came as a big surprise to the fans on the first day of the New Year. The poster features an ensemble star of the film featuring South Indian actress Vijay Sethupathi alongside Vikrant Massey, Ranvir Shorey, and Sachin Khedekar, among others.

As they share the film’s poster on Twitter, the Baahubali the director congratulated the director and the entire team. He wrote, “We are delighted to release the # Santosh Sivan title logoMumbaikar! Best wishes to the whole team on the first Hindi Production. ” The film appears to be a Hindi remake of the Tamil action thrush, Maanagaram (2017).

The title logo introduced the full star of the film with each alphabet of the logo. Earlier, Vikrant Massey was taken to Twitter to announce his connection to the film. n the tweet, he wrote that he is entering the new year with the release of the title of his upcoming film and will be directed by Santosh Sivan. The title will be launched on January 1, 2021. He also tagged Vijay Sethupathi, Sanjana Mishra, Sachin Khedekar, Ranvir Shorey, and Prashant Pillai as he is going to share screen space with these actors. According to reports by Mid-Day, Massey is seen playing an angry young man in the film, a role that is completely different from anything he has done so far.

Vijay, on the other hand, started firing for his project, Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal in December 2020. The film features Vijay starring Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni.
