A new glitch seems to have been discovered Ultimate Smash Bros. and is paired with the latest Sephiroth DLC fighter.
Under the right conditions, the one-winged angel will come Final Fantasy VII they can smash another character’s Final Smash (and the animation of every move, for that matter) – greatly reducing the damage of the usually destructive attack and changing the visual effects from time to time.
To apply this special wisdom, Sephiroth must defeat one of Pokémon Trainer’s pocket monsters with his Shadow Flare attack. After this, the opponent’s final Smash attacks deal mostly damage.
Below is a look, courtesy of a YouTube video from Nintendo Unity:
“We’ll see how a new glitch could lead to Sephiroth completely breaking every Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.”
Again, this glitch requires certain settings to be activated – so you may not come across it in normal games.
While we’re sure it will be settled by Masahiro Sakurai and his team at some point, it shouldn’t affect the competitive side of the game – as Final Smash is not commonly used in play competition.
