Sebastian Vettel completed the first laps for Aston Martin on Thursday, mocking a new race helmet in the process.
Four-time world champion Vettel, who has joined after six years at Ferrari, has driven at Silverstone on filming day. The green car was unveiled at an online launch on Wednesday.
It was interesting to see a new racing helmet for the four-time world champion.
At Ferrari, Vettel wore a white helmet with German flag colors down the center. For his first Aston Martin run, he wore a helmet that had turned these stripes pink and purple – Aston Martin’s colors support BWT, who was a former teammate of Racing Point’s title team. .

Under the previous partnership, BWT would require their drivers to wear helmets that matched that scheme.
It is not being determined whether this is a Vettel helmet design for the new season.
Aston Martin has returned to Formula One under the direction of Lawrence Stroll, who wants to turn it into a title-winning activity. Vettel’s team player is Stroll’s son, Lance.
Also, Lance Stroll finished the first laps with the new car on the day of filming.
Aston Martin will take part in preseason trials at the Bahrain International Circle from March 12-14. That same venue will host this year’s opening race, the Bahrain Grand Prix, on March 28th.
