After two COVID-19-related delays, Ashanti and Keyshia Cole were finally able to film their VERZUZ battle, which was originally slated for Dec. 12. The first delay was announced after Ashanti perform a positive test for the virus. The second delay was in response to an increase in COVID numbers in the country as well as the recent unstable events in Washington DC Tonight, which eventually saw the singers face-to-face in a battle of the beats.
