They followed a strict no-phone policy at the wedding and increased security outside the Alibaug wedding venue – the House of the Stage. The couple also made COVID-19 tests mandatory for those attending the wedding.
The wedding celebrations began on Friday, when Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal traveled to Alibaug with their families. They reportedly surveyed individual resorts – Varun was reportedly having a handicapped party with the groom’s squad. They also had a wedding schedule mehendi and sangeet rituals – mehendi Artistic Veena Nagda was spotted arriving in Alibaug on Saturday. A photo of Varun along with his friends, including filmmakers Shashank Khaitan, Kunal Kohli and designer Manish Malhotra, toured the internet on the morning of his wedding.
Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal, a designer, are childhood lovers and have a wonderful love story. They were in school together but started going much later. After keeping his friendship a hush-hush bond for years, finally on his sixth season of Koffee Le Karan, Varun confirmed that Natasha was his lover. “I’m separating her and we’re a couple … I’m planning to marry her,” he said.
