Utah lost to Philly, Triple Double to Harden in Houston

Philadelphia (12:24) – Utah (9:27) 123: 131

Another loss to the Jazz who got into a less than good period after an amazing start to the season and this time fell in overtime against the powerful Sixers as well. The game between the teams was very close with a slight advantage for Utah in the first half, however Philly managed to come back and eventually also force an extension on the game, and in the extra time stopped Utah by only 5 points. The game brought together four players to appear in the All-Star Game and there is no doubt that the Philadelphia duo that will be there, was the better. Joel Ambide scored 40 points and added 19 rebounds, while Tobias Harris scored 22 and dropped 10 rebounds. Donovan Mitchell, on the other hand, scored 33 points, but it happened with 12 of 34 from the field, and Rudy Gover was stopped with only 12 points.

The Jazz had harsh complaints against the refereeing during the game and Rudy Gober spoke sharply after the game, as did Mitchell, who was sent off during extra time and dismantled the collar on his way out.

Houston (23:11) – Brooklyn (13:24) 132: 114

James Harden met the Rockets and showed them just how much they lost with a triple-double of 29 points, 14 assists, 10 rebounds and all in 10 of 15 from the field. Kyrie Irving added 24 points, Joe Harris scored 19 and Bruce Brown 19 to give the Nets an easy win over the previous man and old team. On the other side, John Wall sniped 36, in 12 of 30 from the field, Victor Oladipo added another 33 points, but the rest of the team had a hard time helping those two.

Orlando (23:13) – Atlanta (20:16) 115: 112

In his second game as the team coach, Nate McMillan remained perfect and the Hawks defeated the Magic in a close game with Trey Young leading them with 32 points. Danilo Glinari also stood out with 23 and 9 rebounds, John Collins contributed another 15 and it all happened without Clint Capella not dressing for the game. Nikola Wojciech was the standout player in Orlando with 29 points, Terence Ross scored 28 and Michael Carter-Williams 20 for the team that came up without the injured Ivan Fournier.

Dallas (16:18) – Oklahoma (21:14) 78:87

Without Luka Doncic getting a rest, Kristaps Forzingins led the Mavericks with 19 points and 13 rebounds in one of the low-scoring games we have had this season in the league. Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 19 as well for Dallas, which stopped Shay Gilgamesh Alexander on 15 on the other side.

Cleveland (22:14) – Indiana (18:16) 114: 111: Malcolm Brogdon stood out with 29 points in the Pacers ranks, TJ McConnell recorded a rare triple-double of 16 points, 13 assists and 10 steals.

Toronto (18:17) – Detroit (25:10) 129: 105: Willen Ellington with 25 points led the Pistons who also got 20 from Sabine Lee and Rodney McGruder. Her other two players recorded a triple-double, Mason Flamely with 14 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists and Dennis Smith Jr. with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 11 rebounds.

Minnesota (29: 7) – Charlotte (18:17) 135: 102: Terry Roger with 31 points led the Hornets to a smooth away win.

New Orleans (20:15) – Chicago (18:16) 128: 124: Zac Lavin is passionate with 36 points in the Bulls’ victory over the Pelicans away. Zion Williamson scored 28 on the other side.
