UPDATE: COVID-19 VOC Exhibit: Oliver’s Steakhouse, Oakville

In addition to our study, Halton Region Public Health has confirmed two additional cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of employees infected to seven. As a result, Halton Division Public Health is extending the exposure period up to and including Thursday, March 18th.

Halton Division Public Health is urging all supporters who ate at Oliver’s Steakhouse between March 8 and March 18 to self-separate for 14 days after their trip, and get tested for COVID-19.

The seven confirmed cases are of concern. While the Halton Region Public Health investigation and case management is ongoing, the total number of people exposed during this period is estimated to be in excess of 200.

March 19, 2021: Halton Region Public Health has announced an outbreak of COVID-19 at Oliver’s Steakhouse Restaurant located at 141 Lakeshore Rd E, Oakville. Visitors who ate at the restaurant between March 8 and March 13 have been exposed to a variety of COVID-19 concerns.

While Public Health is trying to summon these supporters, this effort may take some time. In terms of the interest of the time, we are asking all these supporters to separate themselves for 14 days after visiting the restaurant, and get tested for COVID-19. Visitors can call 311 for more information.
