The UK’s supply of vaccines is secure and the country is on schedule to roll out, according to International Trade Secretary Liz Truss.

Her comments came after the European Union’s action arm rejected a plan to ask vaccine manufacturers to get permission before sending images taken in the bloc to other countries. The spat had raised concerns about the supply chain of Pfizer Inc.’s image. and BioNTech SE, made in Belgium, for the UK

“We are absolutely confident that we can continue to deliver our program,” Truss said in an interview with Sky News. “We have received assurances from the EU that these contracts will not be compromised. And now I think we need to move on, working together. ”
