UK man changes name to Celine Dion after being ‘too drunk’

The madness drank by a British man has left social media users in splits as he changed his name to celebrity singer Celine Dion to mark a new beginning in 2021.

Welcoming the New Year on a strange note, a 30-year-old hospitality employee, formerly known as Thomas Dodd, found out that he had legally changed his name when documents confirming a new name for his home. Panicked, he could not remember when and how it happened but blamed “too many vinos” over the Christmas period for the goof-up.

Sharing images of the action vote – a legal document confirming a change of name – he wrote, “Stage 4 is the least of my worries – I’ve gotten home to some sort of post. ”

According to a report by Post Huff, the process of legally changing your name in the UK is relatively straightforward as it could be done simply by filing for a voting deed. The document can then be used as evidence of your new title for the purposes of changing your passport, driving license and other official documents.

“I was planning to go and see her (Celine Dion) in Vegas but I really couldn’t be because of Covid. So, I’ve become a bit tired of watching her shows on YouTube as the next best thing.
