European football is on its way to a new era. “Super Champions”, as the new plant will be called, which will include a fundamental change of the current format and is scheduled to launch in 2024, when it is not unlikely that it will be advanced to 2023, or even 2022. Chaprin proposed the idea during a meeting with the heads of the five representing clubs The European club organization, known as ECA, which includes Real Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Fenerbahce, who have reportedly agreed to the new format. The substantial change will be reflected in a different “cake distribution”, according to which the above-mentioned large clubs and other large clubs will have a significant increase in revenue compared to the current situation.
Chaprin’s idea comes as a counter-reaction and as an attempt to thwart the Super League enterprise, which already seemed to be the safest way to set up after the consent of all the major clubs on the continent was obtained. UEFA, which is trying to fight with all its might to set up the new factory, has already announced that it will impose sanctions on the players who will take part in it, when it threatened that players who will play in the factory will not be allowed to participate in the World Cup.
It is not yet clear whether the Super Champions idea will come true. The UEFA is talking about a 9-year-old project that will dramatically change the current format of the largest factory in European football. It should be noted that there are clubs that still adhere to their position and are determined to move to the Super League, but that the apparent change in the position of the five team representatives who attended the meeting and represent the organization may eventually lead to a plot twist and overthrow of the new plant.
