The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has ousted the minister of state for foreign affairs Anwar Gargash in a cabinet reshuffle.

Zaki Nusseibeh was ousted as minister of state for public and cultural diplomacy at the foreign ministry to become cultural adviser to the president.

He will be replaced by former political minister Khalifa al-Marar.
