A petition was filed in the Central District Court by Tzipi Refaeli against the Prisons Service, in order to order them to return to her the urgent and life-saving medical treatment, a treatment which she claims was stopped at the initiative of the Prisons Service last Friday.

As you may recall, Refaeli is serving a 16-month prison sentence for the tax offenses for which he was convicted. In September this year she began serving her prison sentence and due to a medical problem that began even before her imprisonment, she received life-saving medical treatment.
According to the petition filed, the IPS decided to stop the treatment on their own initiative starting last Friday, and after Refaeli had a single zoom conversation with a doctor on behalf of the IPS, to whom the many medical documents transferred from the beginning of her imprisonment were not transferred at all.

Apparently, the IPS claims that they want to vaccinate Refaeli against Corona, but according to the expert who treated her, she must not be vaccinated at this stage of the disease, and at the same time stopping the treatment endangers her life.
Refaeli has applied to the IPS in recent days, but they claim that Refaeli’s medical condition is “clearly”, and according to the petition, it is not clear why they stopped the drug treatment there before the procedure ended.
