In Jerusalem, two demonstrations are taking place tonight (Saturday) at the same time – in Paris Square protesting against the Prime Minister and on the String Bridge protesting the death of her late beloved Godfather.
For the first time in several months, the police used a handgun against the demonstrators in Balfour, who marched from the String Bridge in the direction of the Prime Minister’s Residence. Police said that they were forced to use Bmct”zit when demonstrators marched began to cause a disturbance near the presidential residence and tried to break the police barricades there. During the protest march, one suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct and was taken for questioning. Another suspect was arrested for assaulting police officers. According to police, he smelled strongly of alcohol and was in possession of a suspicious substance as a drug. He too was taken for questioning for questioning by the police.
According to the protesters, during the clashes one of them was injured in the eye. Meanwhile, only about a hundred people came tonight to a demonstration by the Movement for Quality of Government near Prime Minister Netanyahu’s house in Caesarea. The demonstrators waved flags and carried signs calling on the Prime Minister to resign.
The chairman of the Movement for the Quality of Government, Adv. Eliad Shraga, referred in his speech to the minority of protesters: “The struggle continues. We must not give up. Always remember that it is not quantity that determines but quality. People are the highest quality in the country.”
Five detainees protesting the death of their beloved godfather
Protests over the death of her late godfather were held tonight across the country at the Meitarim Bridge in Jerusalem, at the Kedumim Junction, at the Bar Ilan Bridge in Ramat Gan, at the Meitarim Junction on Mount Hebron, in Kiryat Motzkin and in other places.
