After his advanced tour through Namibia with former One Direction member Liam Payne in 2019, SBS Middleton is continuing his chatshow-cum-endurance form with Pitch Perfect Rebel star Wilson. The pair dive down in Mexico for some buggy driving and deep sea diving as they take in the sights. Middleton then makes good use of his questioning techniques, talking to Wilson about her recent weight loss and her experience of fame. Ammar Kalia

This unlikely story of a cargo ship landing in the Outer Hebrides, as a legacy of 50,000 cases of whiskey to the grateful islanders, is based on a true wartime incident. In the hands of Alexander Mackendrick it will be a sublime comedy Ealing while the canny folks of Todday run around the Home Guard. Paul Howlett
