Tracee Ellis Ross jokes that being named a Fashion Image was ‘a testament to my shopping experience’

She was honored with the E! Fashion Image Award People’s Choice Awards in November.

And when she appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Tracee Ellis Ross joked about receiving the award.

‘I finally felt it was a testament to my shopping experience,’ she laughed.

Ross, 48, is known for his selective fashion choices.

However, the Black-ish star told Ellen, ‘if people saw me in their pajamas they would definitely take away my title. ‘

She then explained the overnight practice that left the conversation show non-stop.

‘I throw my t-shirt into my underwear into my pajama pants … I don’t want a look, Ellen. I want to keep everything in order and in place, ‘she said.

Humorous note: ‘I finally felt it was a testament to my shopping habit,’ she smiled, before adding: ‘If people saw me in their pajamas they would definitely take off my title ‘

Back in November, she had told E! that she considers fashion as a ‘kind of creative approach’.

She also said she was influenced by her famous mother – Diana Ross – who is widely regarded as a style icon.

Tracee first established herself in Hollywood as the star of the comedy series UPN / CW Girlfriends which ran from 2000 to 2008.

In 2014, she was placed in front of Anthony Anderson in Black-ish who is now in his seventh season.
