“Toronto and Boston favorites to join Arden”

The rumor mill around James Harden continues. The Houston star, who is not expected to stay on the team, is being returned by quite a few teams. Houston ESPN reporter John Granato tweeted that the two who appear to be favorites to join him are Toronto and Boston.

The NBA is back, a special project

Granato claims in a tweet that both teams are willing to transfer their significant assets in exchange for the Rockets. For example, Toronto will give up Pascal Siakam for him, and the Celtics will be willing to trade on Jaylen Brown.

As you may recall, Harden arrived late at the Rockets’ training camp, seems to have gained quite a bit of weight and seems to be doing everything he can to get Houston to give up his services. The Rockets will open the season on the night between Wednesday and Thursday (3:00) with a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

A significant step into the future of the Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have taken a very important step for the coming years. The NBA champion signed Kyle Kozma to a three-year contract for another $ 40 million, with the player having an option to leave him before last season.

The deal actually allows Kozma to be a free agent (the Lakers will be able to compare offers he receives from other teams) when he is at the peak of his career at the age of 28. This is also why he agreed to sign a relatively “cheap” contract, rather than a maximum contract.

In his first three seasons in the best league in the world, Kozma averaged 16 points. He was selected by the Lakers in 27th place in the 2017 draft.

“It’s good for him,” teammate Anthony Davis said. “Now that he has put the contract story behind him, he can go out and play. He had great preparation for the season, and he also played great for us in ‘Bubble.’ Kozma made a big jump from both sides of the pitch.”
