Top 5 Ash Quizzes made in the Pokémon anime

No matter how long Ash has been on his Pokemon adventure, fans need to remember that he is still a kid.

His age and immaturity have led to dubious decisions in his time as a Pokemon trainer. Out of all the times that mark growth, there will always be a comparative moment that reminds all ages.

Make no mistake, from leaving Pallet Town to now, Ash Ketchum has grown in so many areas. As a fighter, friend, and trainer, Ash is reaching the potential that a Pokémon main character should have. However, it is prone to startling mistakes.

Top 5 Ash Quizzes made in the Pokémon anime

# 5 – Never use a Charizard

This does not reflect the times he used Charizard after honoring him. It only includes all advance bookings. After Charmeleon Ash came to Charizard, he immediately dismissed him and disrespected him. He would fight when he felt like it, take naps when he felt like it, and avoid Ash altogether.

Several battles, such as the Pokemon League battle against Ritchie, saw Ash throw Charizard into the mix. Naturally, Charizard would go around his own business and lose the battle for Ash. This has happened far too often.

# 4 – Palpitoad vs Elesa

Gym battle against Elesa was positioned as one of the biggest battles of Ash’s time in the Black and White Series. After spending the whole night strategizing for the battle, Ash does something as dubious as it gets questionable.

Ash decides that Palpitoad alone is the best way to defeat Elesa. He is literally the only Pokemon he took for the Gym battle. After defeating Zebstrika, Palpitoad falls to Emolga. Ash must get out of the battlefield, go to the Pokemon center, and find out which of his allies he wants to bring back.

# 3 – Break into Celadon Gym

This is a highly questionable decision that sees Ash partner with his heaviest enemies, Team Rocket. At one point, Ash Ketchum was barred from entering Celadon Gym. Team Rocket saw this as a way to take advantage of the young Pokemon main character.

They all dress up in Team Rocket costumes, with Ash claiming to be both parents. They make it into the Gym and, of course, things go wrong. Team Rocket accidentally set the Gym on fire. Great conclusions, Ash.

# 2 – type card ignorance

This is more of a series of questionable conclusions than just one. There are many examples shown in the Pokemon anime where Ash just doesn’t understand how types work. He always puts Pokemon into battle on something that should be knocked down in the typing department.

He has made the battle of Pikachu an Rhydon. Recently in Circuits, he puts Pikachu after Flygon with an Electric type attack. Goh says he will do nothing to Pokemon of this kind of land and Ash scratches his head saying he forgot.

# 1 – Starting over

Again, here are a handful of decisions based in one. Every new series of Pokemon sees Ash Ketchum start except Pikachu. Instead of taking the strongest Pokémon with him, he leaves them behind. Sometimes they end up with Professor Oak, other times he just releases them completely.

Ash would greatly benefit from saying, Charizard and Snorlax with him every time he goes to a new area. This would make it easier to fight, capture new Pokemon, and improve like no one has ever. It’s almost as if that goal is no longer his goal.
