Tina Fey & Amy Poehler return to Golden Globes

Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Sunday, Feb. 28. It’s all Eastern.

Best choice

78th annual golden damsel (NBC, 8f): Amy and Tina are back this year, and this is good news for the Golden Globes, as there is a chance that their experience will at least slightly balance all not so good material. But even their hospitality duties will not be as familiar, as they broadcast from different coasts. At least they definitely stand more than six feet apart?

However, are the Globes even really the Globes if no one is there taking off their shoes while holding a martini on stage? We’ll talk about this and many other important questions on our live page. Join Danette Chavez, Shannon Miller, and Katie Rife for the broadcast starting at 8pm

Regular coverage

American gods (Starz, 8f)
the walking Dead (AMC, 9f): Premiere 10 midseason

Wild card

Last week tonight with John Oliver (HBO, 11f): It’s been an exciting week – and certainly, okay, every week has been an exciting week for many, several weeks now, but it’s really the same thing. This week, we want to hear what John has to say about the state of the vacancy gap and the demise of the minimum wage plan, although we may get part two on the meat packaging industry? That would be great too.
