This is why Gwyneth Paltrow did not ‘feel the need’ to top up her coronavirus experience

Gwyneth Paltrow had revealed – earlier this year – that she had COVID-19 at the onset of the pandemic, sometime in February 2020, and had even shared personal information about the experience in a blog post, which describes how it caused “fat”. and “brain fog”.

Now, the 48-year-old actress has shared the real reason she didn’t “feel the need to give up”. “I got it so early that Covid’s tests weren’t available,” she was told Hollywood Reporter.

“We couldn’t even get tested for a long time, and before we could get antibody tests and all that, there were a lot of important, important things going on in the world. I didn’t feel it needed to be built at all, but it was interesting, ”she said.

The actor, who played a key role in the film Contagion – that ‘patient zero’ – she also explained that she may have contracted the virus on a plane, while on a trip to Paris. Back then, she had posted this selfie on Instagram, of her in a mask (dated 26 February 2020), with the caption: “On the way to Paris. Paranoid? Sensible? Shocking? Placid? Pandemic? Propaganda? Paltrow just wants to go ahead and sleep with this thing on the plane. I’ve been in this movie already. Stay safe. Do not shake hands. Wash your hands often. Sic (sic) ”

As mentioned before, Paltrow had has already detailed her experience in a role on her Goop website. In the post were some results she said helped her get over it, and maybe help others who have long suffered from Covid, too. These included: eating keto and a “but flexible” plant-based diet, and not eating “sugar or alcohol”.

Stephen Powis, National Medical Director of NHS England, responded to his advice, saying: “In the last few days, I see Gwyneth Paltrow sadly suffering from Covid’s side effects. . We wish her well, but some of the solutions she proposes are not really the solutions we would recommend ”.

He said: “All influencers who use social media have a duty and responsibility. ”

To this, the actor responded: “We don’t really say at Goop that we’ve never made mistakes, in fact we’ve had them before, but we’re very much in integrity and we’re careful about what we say. We always feel like we understand why there is so much of that [criticism] to be a clickbait for people. “
