Third closure: These are the expected roadblocks across the country

The police emphasized that “due to the activity of the checkpoints and the strict inspection, traffic congestion is expected on some of the intercity roads. As you may recall, for the purpose of the mission, a particularly large task force was assigned, which appointed about 5,000 police officers for the benefit of information and enforcement operations. During the closure, the traffic department will deploy 12 checkpoints on the intercity arteries at night until 7:00 p.m. During the day, between 15 and 20 checkpoints will be deployed – mainly in the south, north and east of the country, including checkpoints within the localities, where everything will be determined accordingly and while moving. During the Sabbath, about 25 checkpoints are expected to be deployed around the clock, so the public is asked to be patient in cases of traffic jams and the message must be clear: Anyone who has no reason to leave the house, in order to get to work or participate in a demonstration should sit at home.
