SIR ORANGE, Fla. – Two women who pretended to be elderly so they could get the COVID-19 vaccine were able to get the sights the first time, even if they weren’t so lucky the second time around.
Dr. Raul Pino, of the Florida Department of Health in Orange County, gave details of the bizarre incident Thursday, saying the two were busied when they looked up at the Orange County Convention Center to get a second look for to complete the series and were turned away when vaccines noticed they were “looking funny” and saw that the dates of birth on their vaccine cards did not match the dates on licenses their driver.

“We did not lack the willing arms to be vaccinated. We are also getting people to be old to get the vaccine. So yesterday, we realized that a couple of young women dressed as grandmothers came to get the vaccine for the second time, so I don’t know how they got out the first time but they came (for get) the vaccine. The hats, the gloves, the glasses – the whole thing and they were probably in their 20s, ”said Pino.

Pino said at the time that a study had to be launched to find out if the women received the first doses and where those pictures were taken.
Kent Donahue, the public information officer for the Orange County health department, confirmed Monday that the two women received their first doses at the conference center but was unable to provide information on how they were treated. grip on the system and why they were not detected the first time.
The conference center site is only open to those 65 and older and health care workers but records show that one woman was 34 and the other 44 years old.
When the pair appeared on Feb. 17 for the second dose, they were issued with a treason warning instead and told they could not return to the contract center.
A body camera video provided by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office shows agents arguing with the two women, who apparently were not wearing costumes as Pino explained.

“You know what you did? You have stolen a vaccine from someone who needs it more than you and now you are not going to get your second one, ”a messenger told the couple. “So that’s a waste of time we spent here. So, we’re at that stage here but just for your self-satisfaction to steal a vaccine. ”
Representatives also told the women that they should be glad they were not arrested.
Donahue said the conference center ‘s decision was to go overboard with the women rather than pushing costs but when the time comes and they deserve it, they should be able to returned to the site to receive the second dose.
