The World Health Organization will test the Astrazenica vaccine; Fear of outbreak

The World Health Organization announced today (Monday) that it intends to examine recent reports regarding the side effects of the use of the Astraznica and Oxford University vaccines. However, it has not yet been proven that the reported incidents are a direct product of the vaccine.

A spokesman for the organization, Christian Lindmeier, said: “Once the organization has finished investigating the incidents, the findings will be immediately communicated to the public. Until now, there is no evidence that the incidents that happened to the vaccinated were directly caused by the vaccine.”

As you may recall, in recent weeks, cases have been reported in various countries in which serious side effects have been caused to patients who have received the company’s vaccine dose, which is related to blood clots. However countries such as Mexico, Germany and Canada have announced their intention to continue vaccinating with Astrazenica.

At the same time, the chief prosecutor in the province of Piedmont in Italy, announced this morning the confiscation of about 400,000 Asterzanica vaccines, after a person who received the vaccine died. Health authorities in Ireland also announced yesterday that the use of the vaccine has been suspended as a precautionary measure, as there have been further reports of cases of blood clots developing in vaccinated people, although there is no evidence that there is a link to the injections.

Last week, the European Union’s Drug Regulator announced that the Safety Commission would examine Austria’s decision to suspend Astrazenica vaccines as well. “The safety committee will look into the issue. It is currently investigating the reported cases of blood clots after the vaccine,” it said. About two weeks ago, it was reported that in South Korea, the deaths of two people who died after receiving the company’s vaccine were being investigated.

Meanwhile, in France, there was a heavy load in the intensive care units, with over the weekend the number of hospitalized more than 4,000 patients, for the first time since the end of November. More than a quarter of them are in Ile-de-France, the region that includes the Paris area.

In Russia, 9,437 new diagnoses and 404 deaths from the virus were reported today, within 24 hours. In Germany, 2,575,849 patients were diagnosed and 73,418 died from the outbreak.
