Police announced today (Thursday) that they have deciphered the murder of 15-year-old boy Amar Abu Tsaluk from Lod, who was murdered last December on Road 6 near the Nachshonim interchange. As you may recall, the shooting from which the boy was killed was carried out while the vehicle in which he was staying was borrowed by a police force, which helped his family escape from their place of residence. According to the suspect, those involved went out to avenge the murder of their father, Muhammad Azbarga, and murdered the rival clan member.

At the end of the investigation, alleged evidence was found, police say, of the involvement in the murders of the brothers Anes (35) and Muaman (22) Azberga, and their relatives Muhammad Azbarga, 35, and Omar Azbarga, 31, residents of Lod, and Hassan Azbarga, 29, a resident of Zemer. This week a prosecutor’s statement was filed against the suspects and at the beginning of next week an indictment and a request for detention will be filed until the end of the proceedings.

The head of the crime department at the Central District Court, Superintendent Rotem Gil, who conducted the investigation, commented on the decipherment of the murder: “The findings of the investigation revealed that the suspects sought revenge for the blood of their father, who was murdered that morning, and organized to harm rival family members.” The suspects followed members of the rival family, and tried to approach their vehicles on Road 433 in the area of ​​Mahf Ben Shemen. However, they fled after realizing that they had been identified by a police force. “

In the area of ​​the Nachshonim interchange, the two Skoda vehicles, including the suspects, approached the rival family’s vehicle, with one vehicle recognizing the convoy. A man was killed in the second vehicle, killing Amar Abu Tsaluk and injuring another family member. The suspects fled to the Qalansawa area, where they burned the vehicle from which the shooting took place, and returned to the family compound in Lod by another vehicle. On the same day, three of the suspects were arrested, followed by two more.
