The United States requires British airline passengers to pass a negative COVID-19 test before departing.
The US is the latest country to announce new travel restrictions due to a new version of the coronavirus spreading in Britain.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states that passengers from the United Kingdom must undergo COVID-19 negative tests within three days of their flight and provide the results to the airline.
The group says the order will be signed on Friday and executed on Monday.
The CDC says due to travel restrictions in place since March, air travel to the U.S. from the UK has been cut by 90 per cent.
Last weekend, the British Prime Minister said a a new variant of the coronavirus they seemed to spread more easily than earlier ones and move quickly through England. Dozens of countries have banned flights from the UK.
