The UAE has urged the UN Security Council to vaguely criticize the ban on the delivery of humanitarian aid by armed groups and demand that they fully respect their obligations under international humanitarian law.

The UAE submitted a written statement to the UN Security Council for its open debate on conflict and food security to call the United States, in his role as President of the Council for March, the state news agency WAM reported.

“Prolonged conflict, in particular, poses a serious threat to the health and well-being of women, men and children,” the UAE wrote.
