The U.S. secret service intervened in a 2018 police investigation into a lost biden hunter’s gun

The secret service tried to intervene in a police investigation in 2018 after Hunter Biden then her boyfriend, her brother Hallie’s widow, threw a gun she found in his car in a grocery store trash because she thought he was going to kill himself with it.

The bizarre incident was reported by Politico on Thursday.

Hallie had been looking for a Hunter truck because she had ‘suspicions’. She found a .38 refueling and then went to Janssen Market, a grocery store in Wilmington, where she threw the gun away. It was packed in a black shopping bag and placed in a rubbish bin.

She then told Hunter what she had done and ordered her to go back and get it. When she did that, he was gone.

She told the store and the store’s general manager told police.

The FBI was called to the scene and police interviewed both Hunter and Hallie. During one of his interviews, he described two Mexican source workers as ‘suspicious’ and said they were ‘very illegal’.

When a cop asked if the gun had been used in a crime, Hunter became ‘restless’ and asked the cop if he was lying deliberately to ‘make him mad’ .

The cop then asked him if he had been using drugs or if he was drunk and said: ‘Listen, it’ s not like that.

‘I think she believes I was killing myself. ‘

Hunter’s drug and alcohol problems were well documented.

While the two were being questioned, Secret Service representatives went to StarQuest Shooters – where Hunter had bought the gun on Oct. 12 – and asked owner Ron Palmieri if he would give them the sales records.

Ron Palmieri – refused to donate. He said he did not want the secret service to try to hide a hunter’s connection with the weapons if it was used in a crime.

Within a few days, the gun reappeared when a man going through the bins at the store brought it back.

No arrests or charges were made and the incident was kept largely secret.

No-one in the Biden family was entitled to the protection of a Secret Service at the time but Politico cites anonymous sources who say representatives from the Secret Service offices in Wilmington and Philadelphia held an ‘informal’ position. in their defense after Joe stepped down as Vice President in 2017.

Vice Presidents do not have the right to lifelong Secret Service protection in the way that a President does.

The Secret Service told Politico that its officers had no record of any involvement in the investigation.

Hunter, in his police interview, told police he never asked his father for ‘nothing’.

Hunter and Hallie’s relationship was unveiled in 2017, two years after Beau’s death. Beau died of a brain tumor.

They now have a baby son together, also known as Hunter.

In August 2018, months before the gun happened and while he was still with Hallie, he killed another child with Lunden Alexis Roberts, a fighter who lives in Arkansas.

He hardly speaks of another to say that he supports sobriety, and has denied denying himself by interfering or abusing his powers to help.

In response to the Politico announcements, the White House said on Thursday: ‘President Biden had no knowledge of, or involvement in, the Secret Service’s prosecution role in this incident, and neither he nor any family member. be the protector at that time. ‘
