The return of Noble Omar to Israel was accompanied by a lot of emotions. But tonight (Tuesday), his return took an ugly turn: a grenade was placed in Noble’s parents’ house and an investigation was opened into the matter.
It all started at 2:43 p.m., when a call from Noble’s mother was received at the 100 hotline. The mother said she opened the door to go downstairs and spotted a stray grenade under the rug. Noble’s parents immediately evacuated the house, and forensic investigators from the Ayalon area arrived at the scene and took the grenade.
Immediately after the violent incident, Noble and his parents will be questioned by the Holon police. The contact presented threats he received to his mobile cell phone recently from sources who demanded that he not sign with Maccabi Haifa. Those threats, by the way, caused the nobleman to change his phone number. In addition, as part of the investigation, the investigators asked the player for the password to his social networks in order to try and extract more information from there – since there are no cameras at the scene of the incident.
At this point, the investigation examines several directions of investigation. First and foremost, the possibility is being examined that these are fans of one of the league teams who tried to warn Atzili before signing for Maccabi Haifa. In addition, additional directions are being explored.
The violent incident does not change the situation of Azili, who is expected to sign tomorrow at Maccabi Haifa and join the team immediately. “Omar and his family are going through a very difficult period. Days of violence are not simple. The incitement against him must be stopped,” said a Maccabi Haifa source after the case was published.
