Parineeti teaser Chopra-starrer The Girl on the Train is out. The first few pictures of the teaser show Parineeti in London looking out of a train window in a panic. We then see it in an abstract state.
This looks like an intense career for Parineeti, last seen in Jabariya Jodi in 2019. The Girl on the Train is based on the 2015 Paula Hawkins novel of the same name. The novel was adapted earlier in a Hollywood film starring Emily Blunt.
The Girl on the Train follows an alcoholic woman who watches a couple as she rides the train every day and starts idolizing them until she gets involved in someone’s case. who is lost and until her mysteries begin to unfold.
Earlier in a statement, Parineeti Chopra said, “Emily Blunt ‘s performance in The Girl on the Train had blown my mind and I am honored that the character she played has been so brilliant on screen. The restraint and range she showed as an actress while playing a troubled girl and fighting herself in the film showed what a unique actress she is. When any actor makes a remake of a love movie, it is expected to match the original, if not better. So I understand that audiences will watch our film and compare it to the original and compare my picture of the main character against Emily. ”
Managing director Ribhu Dasgupta will also feature Aditi Rao Hydari, Kirti Kulhari, Avinash Tiwary and Tota Roy Choudhury.
The Girl on the Train aired on Netflix on February 26th.
