Agreements for the purchase of projects in the amount of about 23 megawatts that hold building permits and have a permit to connect to the electricity grid. In doing so, the company completes the projects in which it participates in Europe to a total of about 900 megawatts.

According to Doral, “The share of renewable energy in the country today is still relatively low compared to the European average, but it is growing steadily (and is expected to double in the next decade). “Conventional alternatives, with the addition of the government tender mechanism, all these and more – make Poland an attractive target market for it.”

CEO of Doral Energy Yaki Neumann He told BizPortal today: “The state of Poland is not exposed to the sun, but due to the state’s need to end its dependence on polluting coal, the tariff there is 250 zlotys per megawatt. This price is about 80% higher than the tariff in Israel. “60%, but it will happen by 80% and the numbers are balancing.”

Why do Poles not focus on wind energy which is probably more common in Europe?

So far they have focused on this energy, but recently difficult regulations have been passed that set a minimum distance between wind turbines and inhabited cities so now they are trying to develop solar energy as well.

The state of Poland is a corona-stricken state, does it not make it difficult for businesses in the country, or at least hinder them?

We believe that one of the tools to emerge from the crisis is to invest in infrastructure. We made the investment in Italy in March, at the most severe crisis point of the virus’ impact. You could have asked me then the same question.

Renewable energy is the key to getting out of the crisis. Both Israel and Poland have taken on the task of generating 30% of electricity use through renewable energies. We believe that as the future comes, these goals will further expand and deepen towards 2050. The world is going to a place of renewable energy.

Are you not afraid of corruption and stifling regulation in the country?

We perceive Poland as a country where business can be done easily and fairly. Poland is in 33rd place easily doing business for 2019 (Israel for comparison is in 49th place). In terms of corruption, Poland is ranked 41st (Israel 35th).

Since the issuance of Doral its market capitalization has soared almost 3 times that it is not inflated value?
Definately not. Anyone who follows the company’s activity in the United States, Israel and Europe, while understanding that this is a growing industry, will understand that the price reflects the company’s activity and there is more to come from here.
