The release of F9 has been postponed again: This is when the upcoming Fast and Furious movie arrives

The ninth entry in the Fast and Furious franchise, F9, is delayed by more than a month. Earlier set to release on May 28, it will now hit theaters on June 25. F9 was originally scheduled for release on May 22, 2020, but has been delayed several times due to coronavirus pandemic. Justin Lin, who has directed four films in the franchise, will be coming back straight. He has written the script with Daniel Casey.

The film brings back Dominic Toretto Vin Diesel who must fight his younger brother (John Cena) and old enemy Cipher (Charlize Theron). F9 also features Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang and Helen Mirren.

Diesel shared the new release date on his Instagram profile. He wrote, “Finally !!! Blessed and thankful. # F9 #Fastsaga #Fatherhood. ”

The draws and promos promise to return to form for the franchise, with large set pieces and great action on display on the big screen.

The official summary states, “Vin Diesel’s Dom Toretto follows a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lies just above peaceful horizon. This time, that danger will cause Dom to resist the sins of the past if he is going to save his loved ones. His team comes together to stop a world-breaking conspiracy led by the most skilled and high-performing driver they have ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s abandoned brother, Jakob (John Cena, the upcoming Suicide Squad). ”
