Croatian studio Croteam has partnered with independent developer Nathan “DwK” Brown to release major update Bad Sam 2 today, more than a few years removed from the first-person launch at the end of 2005.

“It’s been five billion years since the last major update Bad Sam 2, ”Croteam explained Steam. “In the meantime, we have released a number of games, however Bad Sam 2 there was always creep in the darkest corners of our minds. So much so that the ol ‘Nate, aka Nathan Brown, aka DwK, commented on how he’d like to give Bad Sam 2 another chance, we jumped right on the hype train. ”

Brown is a longtime fan of the Bad Sam series and fertile modder for shoe. His experience has led to a change that radically changes the classic Bad Sam 2 experience with two new guns, sprinting, dual-wielding, rocket jumping, various upgrades to the game’s images and animations, and radar that monitors enemies, NPCs, and targets. The contestant will also be pleased to learn that there are a dozen more multiplayer maps to go theoretically as well.

“I hope that everything that has been done helps to keep the game enjoyable for a long time to come,” Brown wrote in Croteam news. “If that works out, it was worth it. Long live Bad Sam 2! ”
