Joy McCallow’s children’s book “Champ and Major: The First Dogs” was prepared in just two weeks, after the author decided to celebrate Biden’s selection for the role in a particularly original way. The book was released on the occasion of Biden’s official entry into the White House, and so does the book – the two dogs arrive at their new home, with Champ, whom the Biden adopted in 2008 and spent time with them during Biden’s tenure as former Vice President Barack Obama, introducing the compound to Major The three-year-old, who was adopted in 2018 From a shelter.
“People are so excited about the change that is taking place. They are excited about the hope and clarity that awaits us, and I think there is nothing more positive than dogs,” said McCallow, who until now used to write books dealing with older and darker topics. “There’s so much darkness in the world right now.
