The Devil is part time! on its first trailer for Season 2 release! That’s right, after eight years of long waits from many fans holding a candle for this series, the final anime is returning for a second season. It’s getting fair for the course in the fandom to enjoy one anime cour series, and it’s disappointing to find that a second season isn’t on the way. Even worse when there are no signs on the front, and fans have to move on to new shows. But this one kind of came out of nowhere!
As part of the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the original light novel series’ release, The Devil is part time! returning for his second season soon. You can check out the first look at the new season in the video above as it confirms the team’s comeback for the new seasons. The staff and production studio are a bit of a mystery, though, but the character design seems to have gained a complete facelift.
The return team so far includes the confirmed appearance of Ryota Ohsaka as the Demon King Satan, Yoko Hikasa as the Heroine Emilia, Nao Toyama as Chiho Sasaki, Yuki Ono as the Demon General Alciel, Hiro Shimono as the Demon General Lucifer, and Kanae Ito as Suzuno Kamazuki. There seems to be one big new addition as well, but no details have been released for this new front yet!
The new designs don’t seem too far removed from those seen in the first season of 2013, so it looks as if it’s all strained. Along with the staff and production details, a release date has not yet been confirmed at the time of this writing. The series is officially described as, “Destroyed by a hero when he is an inch away from getting over the world, the devil finds himself in Tokyo the With no real skills in the world speaking, the devil has to meet the heads of burgers flying at fast food! To unravel any other plans for world control stop, the hero monitors the devil’s path and undertakes low telemarketer actions. “
