One Plus announced today (Monday, 8.3) a collaboration with camera maker Hasselblad, in which the two will develop cameras for One Plus phones for a period of 3 years. The first series of devices that will benefit from the cooperation between the two companies will be the series ofOnePlus 9This will be officially unveiled on Tuesday, March 23, at an event that the company is expected to broadcast live via the Internet.
Van Plus notes that they have worked with Hasselblad in recent months to showcase significant improvements in photography, with much of it dedicated to color calibration that will be dedicated to the company’s devices. The company adds that it has also worked in the field of software, in order to present improvements to the end result of images taken with its devices.
In the announcement posted by the company in its forums, OnePlus stated that the OnePlus 9 series will come with Sony’s IMX789 sensor, which will add support for 12-bit (RAW) images, enhancement to HDR movie as well as 4K resolution support up to 120 frames per second and in 8K at 30 frames per second.

Alongside these things, OnePlus also added details on its plans to develop the field of photography in phones in the future, mentioning a panoramic shooting mode with a 140-degree angle sensor and ultra-fast focus for selfie cameras, which will be introduced as soon as the OnePlus 9 is unveiled.
According to previous leaks on the devices in the OnePlus 9 series, both devices will come with high-refresh AMOLED screens, with the entry-level model coming with a 6.55-inch screen, while the Pro model will offer a larger 6.7-inch screen. On the photography side, the OnePlus 9 is expected to offer a pair of 48-megapixel cameras along with another photo sensor whose function is unknown, while the OnePlus 9 Pro model is expected to come with a square photo array built in collaboration with the photography company Hasselblad.
