Bat Yam Municipality will mark International Women’s Day with a variety of events throughout March.

International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8 this year, will be celebrated in the city of Bat Yam with a wide variety of different events that will take place throughout March, in order to offer the city’s residents a variety of events to suit different audiences among women and in general.

In addition to events for the general public, the municipality will hold a variety of events and activities for the employees of the municipality and the Society for Leisure and Sports Culture under the sign of “Women’s Empowerment” that will include personal and fascinating stories of the facts. Another issue promoted by Mayor Zvika Brut together with the director of the municipality, Yodfat Afek Arazi, this year is the allocation, for the first time in Bat Yam, of a special budget for dealing with violence against women and promoting the status of women.
