The Miz joins Brock Lesnar, The Rock, and two others on the elite list after winning the WWE title at the Elimination Chamber

The Miz has teamed up with Brock Lesnar, The Rock, Bruno Sammartino, and Bob Backlund in the elite list of WWE Superstars after winning the WWE title at the 2021 Elimination Room event.

The Miz won Money In The Bank newspaper with a win over Otis, last year. Tonight, Drew MacIntyre retained his WWE title inside the Elimination Room and was brutally attacked by Bobby Lashley after the game. Ever a spy, the Miz came out with the newspaper Money In The Bank and defeated MacIntyre to win the coveted belt for the second time in his career.

The Miz joins an elite list of ancient heroes

With this advantage, the Miz has now become part of the elite list of WWE Superstars. This list, now made up of five WWE Superstars, features men who have gaps of more than a decade between two of their WWE titles. Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, The Rock, Brock Lesnar, and The Miz are the only Superstars in WWE history who have accomplished this action.

(Note: The gaps mentioned here are from the date the Superstar won the WWE title, to the date they won it next time around)

Let’s take another look at the amazing records of these five Superstars:

Bruno Sammartino: May 1963 – December 1973 (10 years and seven months)
