Slowly, in small steps, the sports world is trying to get back to routine – and for that to happen, the league manager continues to put pressure on all players to get vaccinated against the corona virus. This morning (Monday), a letter was sent from the chairman of the administration, Erez Kalfon, informing the groups that the Ministry of Health has decided to stop performing the tests for the groups in the event of exposure to a verified patient starting on March 29.
“As of this date, in any case where a player / staff member is exposed to a verified patient and does not hold a vaccinator or recovering certificate – he will have to go into full home isolation in accordance with the rules applicable to all citizens and will be absent from the team.” “We will make it clear in advance that in such cases, the team’s activities will continue without the same players – even if they are key players / goalkeepers / a large number of players. The team will have to carry out the activity with substitutes / players from the youth team.”
At the same time, the Minister of Culture and Sports, Hili Trooper, is currently promoting an outline that will allow entry to cultural events and sports fields, even for people who were tested at the event site with the help of rapid corona tests.
“It is important to go and get vaccinated, but at the same time we are promoting an outline that will allow entry with speed tests,” said Minister Trooper. “The goal is that those who cannot be vaccinated will also be able to come and enjoy the cultural events and sporting events. We are now exploring all options to allow culture responsibly and are awaiting approval from the Ministry of Health.”
