The Medium released by Team Bloober earns average reviews; a major new project coming soon

The Bloober team has recently launched The Medium on various Xbox and PC platforms, according to a report published in screenrant.com. But if the news is to be believed, the Polish studio is already preparing for the “major new project”. The Medium was released last month and received average reviews. However, the sales were good and that helped cover the development cost in just two days.

If we look at the past works of the Bloober team, we find that this title belongs to the horror genre. This Xbox project deals with a medium called Marianne. Marianne can interact both with the human world and also with the spirit world. This aspect of the character has made it very popular among the players all over the world. The result of this aspect of the game is that players must navigate both worlds at the same time, solving the puzzles and overcoming the various obstacles that come their way. This will help Marianne to progress to the next levels in the game. This challenging game opened up a huge world for the players. While critics felt that the game did not reach the mark, however, the interest of the gamers was maintained by the Bloober Team ‘s next plans.

What’s the next big project?

Bloober Team designer Artur Laczkowski announced earlier that the studio has been working hard on the “next big project”. The designer also shared a link to their Careers page that showed they were hiring for their next game in roles like Combat programmer, Concept Artist, 3D Technical Animator, and so on. The job descriptions do not provide much information about the new plan. The posts referred to Bloober as an awesome producer so the players can assume that the company will not stray from their main genre.

The Middle Ages can be said to be a different beast. This beast gained the status of the first ban on Xbox Series X | S at Microsoft. An animated trailer for this terrifying psychological game was also released before it was released. The trailer had creeps, suspenseful sound effects, old buildings and so on. There is no official statement from Bloober to say whether this horror psychological game is a time to finally go to PlayStation hardware. Instead the players have to wait to see what the company is preparing to do and what the “big new project” is all about.
