(Reuters) – CD Projekt has become a target of a cyber attack, which has compromised some of its internal systems, the Polish video game maker said on Twitter on Tuesday.

“An anonymous actor gained unauthorized access to our internal network, collected some data belonging to PROJEKT CD capital group, and left a ransom note,” he said in a statement.

The company’s shares fell 6% to 270 zlotys ($ 72.79) by 0841 GMT.

CD Projekt said it was still investigating what happened but as far as it knew, there was no personal data of the players or users of its services in the compromised systems.

CD Projekt has recently made an appearance amid the troubled release of the long-awaited Cyberpunk 2077 game.

The company said it would work closely with authorities to fully investigate the incident.
