Also creator of The Last of Us, Neil Drackman, Who also co-wrote the series tweeted on Twitter about the exciting news and congratulated the actors on joining the family. The person who was chosen to direct and write the series together with Drakman is the creator of “Chernobyl” – Craig listens. The series is currently in the early stages of production and therefore no details or dates are available yet.
The Last of Us takes place in a post-apocalyptic world 20 years into the future, after modern civilization was wiped out due to an outbreak of a zombie epidemic, and is still battling it. The plot focuses on Joel – a smuggler of supplies and weapons in the New World and his journey to smuggle Eli – a 14-year-old girl with immunity to the deadly virus – at a group of rebels, so that they can develop a vaccine.
