While Maccabi Tel Aviv players in Kiev for a meeting with Shakhtar Donetsk in the Europa League, the Maccabi Foundation together with the team fan and singer Hanan Ben Ari and his friends, celebrated Purim in the pediatric ward at Shamir Medical Center (Assaf Harofeh Hospital).

During the visit, gifts were distributed by the Club Fund to children hospitalized in the various pediatric emergency departments. Ben Ari He dedicated some of his songs to the hospitalized and was especially moved: “This year is a special year,” said the singer, who apart from being a fan of the team, also repeated the Yellows’ championship song from the 95/96 season with winning the championship two years ago.

He added: “Usually we would come here with the players and do happy as we know. This year because of the regulations the players could not come. I am here with the Maccabi Foundation and do the most important and right thing in this period. Football and music always go together. “Of the game it’s the songs and the energy that the audience gives to the players and back. All these worlds come together and if it is possible to bring it to a place like this and make people happy then let’s do it.”
