The Liverpool player ranks as Roberto Firmino and the sensational Fabinho against Crystal Palace

Alisson Becker 7

You shook one header from Schlupp and swiped it up when needed. I enjoy watching the goals go in at the other end.

Trent Alexander-Arnold 7

Very difficult in the first half and was always reflected in the speed of Eze and Zaha. Much, much firmer after the interim and asked for help for the fourth.

Joel Matip 8

Some heads were strong against Ayew and kept things simple. He collapsed deeper as Palace looked to confront him. Completely unrelated and may help help late.

Fabinho 9

Successful challenges and interesting ideas as Palace had the upper hand for spells before breaking. Positional sensitivity, mobility and physicality make it an excellent back-up.

Anndra Robertson 9

One good device stopped Schlupp’s attack in the first half when he was kept busy by defense. Cross created the third one on the counter and thoroughly enjoyed his second half.

Jordan Henderson 8

His teammates lamented throughout but did not use the ball as well as the usual first half before finding his field, especially with his blistering strike for the fourth.

Gini Wijnaldum 7

He was taken out of possession once or twice and was unable to stamp his authority before the breach. Liverpool’s lead, however, allowed him to work his way into the game. Subbed.

Naby Keita 7

Like his midfield team-mates, he was not on his own way in the first half but refused to hide and grew in confidence, playing a part in two goals.

Sadio Mane 8

Pressed hard to the right, he showed a wake to create the opener for Minamino and turned and finished brilliantly home the second. There could be more to it. Subbed.

Roberto Firmino 9

Again very impressive, Mane’s fine pass let out a second for the second and he started and finished off the brilliant counterattack for the third, then brought out another with a sublime finish. . Subbed.

Takumi Minamino 8

He took his first Premier League goal well and dangerously when pressed, and almost grabbed another second half. Vibrant movement.

A Super Dalglish-esque pass created the fifth for Firmino and then he took out once before curling in a desperate effort for the seventh.

Instead he enjoyed Firmino’s second goal while waiting to come.
