The Last of Us Deepfake thinks of Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as Joel and Ellie

In the weeks since Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey have been announced to play Joel and Ellie in the upcoming HBO the last of us TV series, fans have been trying to imagine what the two actors would look like in their respective roles. While some have chosen to create their own art and illustrations to bring these characters to life, someone else has now made a video that will help us see what the TV show would look like.

Thanks to YouTube channel HD, a new in-depth video that crosses the faces of Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey on Joel and Ellie from the very beginning the last of us game has now come into being. The video takes some of the most memorable cuts from the original game and adds the facial features of both Pascal and Ramsey to the characters. While it’s not a perfect representation of the appearance of every character in the HBO series, this actually gives you a chance to see how the two actors would look like Joel and Ellie. Honestly, after seeing this for myself, I have to say that HBO and PlayStation Productions did a good job with these throwing options. I had a few doubts before, but Pascal and Ramsey fit those characters well.

The biggest downside right now, though, is that we don’t know when we’ll see it the last of us discussion on HBO. For now, the series has no start date. That being said, production has certainly started to go up in recent months, especially when Pascal and Ramsey were unveiled on the project. If we’re lucky, filming should start later this year. After that time, we may see a trailer before 2021 goes around. Until then, you can keep up with what we broadcast of the show in the future here.
